This site is run by Noel Schutz and Judy Wu to make their works available to others. Noel was trained in linguistics and anthropology  at Indiana University under the late Prof. Carl Voegelin. He worked with Mohave and Maricopa languages in Arizona and Shawnee in Oklahoma. His  Ph.D. disseertation was Shawnee Myth in an Ethnographic and Ethnohistorical Perspective (1975). His Life Partner of 30 years is Judy K. L. Wu who is a Native Formosan of the Bunun tribe and they live in her village in the mountains of central Taiwan.  Judy submits pieces to English language newspapers in Taiwan and is involved in Christian work in her community. They returned to Taiwan in 1990 after a dozen years in the states and have lived her since that time.
