Shawnee Traditions
Wednesday, April 18th, 2007My Ph.D. thesis brought together scattered linguistic, cultural and historical material in order to provide a comprehensive account through the prism of a study of the Shawnee’s own traditions. Since it was submitted in 1975, much more material has come to light and my researches have continued. This work will add cumulative research results, previously unpublished data, and new perspectives. I anticipate having it ready by the end of this summer. Check out http://www.shawnee-traditions.com for some of my material along with the genealogical researchers of my partner Don Greene on Shawnee Names and relationships.
